It's a fun mount, and a fun gimmick, nothing more. This whole thing now reminds me of the Tosh's stand up where his friend was watching Superman Retruns and says "yeah, right" when Superman gets shot in the eye. His super speed, flying, all other stuff plausible but that just wasnt.

For everyone on both sides of the subject ("I love this, can't wait to ride it and be all like "woo, yeah, woo!" and "I hate this, I would never ride such a thing! I can't believe they'd put a carpet on a goobbue!"), it's okay to have a difference of opinion. That's fine. But let's stop the personal attacks because of someone's opinion. It's great that we all have them and it's useful for us to know for feedback, but we don't need posts that are just attacking another player's subjective opinion.

This pretty much goes for all facets of the forum, too.

I didn't read all the pages, so I'm not sure if people have suggested this, but what if we're getting one mount per city-state, possibly from Grand Companies? Gobbue in Limsa, drake in Ul'dah and wolf in Gridania. Just a thought.
