I bet when it's released it'll be the hot thing for a day then people will be demanding more mounts and you'll see less and less of these running around as the week goes on after the update.

Ok, your personal opnion, that's fine.

Again, you're just assuming we will have no explaination at all for this. Following the "it fits the story" argument then I guess you were also against other stuff that's been implemented like Materia or Good King Moogle Mog, because both of these things were NEVER, EVER mentioned in the game's lore AT ALL until literally AFTER the patch that added them. You must also be against jobs (again, never mentioned at all), and pretty much any new feature they plan to add that "don't fit the story" prior to their implementation.

They can explain these mounts and include them in the lore, it's not a hard thing to do at all and that argument is completly invalid, sorry.

That said, I have a lot of things in the pipeline at the moment such as patch 1.20b (including a special mount!), the next Producer Letter, and the third Player’s Survey, so please hang in there for just a little while longer!

And as for the "special mount" that he mentioned... Hurray for Goobbues!! I've always loved these creatures. There's just something about them that makes me go "dawwww", even when they mysteriously appeared and owned me when I first explored the La Noscea region. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!
