Questions about Stormblood crossplatforming

I have two computers: Mac which I bought the expansion and used to mainly play on and a new gaming PC. I am aware you have to purchase the game again for PC, but I was curious. My main is a SAM, and was curious if I would be able to play Stormblood classes if my character had already unlocked it.

Im fairly sure the game wont lock you by race or class. If your gaming PC has only the base game(or base+HW) it will lock you by zone. Basically, if you log out on the mac in a SB area you wont be able to access the character(and likewise, wont be able to go to SB areas from the old world). Most convenient is to keep all platforms equal.

Buy it on you gaming PC and never play it on your Mac again unless you absolutely have to. There are reasons Macs are not used for gaming.

Just buy the complete edition which includes the base game, SB and HW.

I see no problem as long as you are login into the game with the same account.. although it sucks that you have to buy new CD.. but make sure you have the complete edition on your gaming rig!

You need the base game and the expansion to continue playing on a different platform. As long as you have only the base game on the other platform, you have restrictions when playing on that platform:

• You cannot log in if you logged out in a HW or SB area.
• You cannot log in if you logged out as a HW or SB job.*
• While logged in, you must stay in ARR areas.
• While logged in, you cannot change to a HW or SB job.*
• While logged in, you cannot gain xp beyond Lv50.

*I'm 91.4% sure about these two. Can anyone confirm?
