Mac client fullscreen on only one of two monitors?

I have a dual-monitor setup on my Mac, and I'd like to be able to play FF14 fullscreen on my main monitor and still have the other monitor available for other things. When I run FF14 as fullscreen, though, it completely blanks the secondary monitor. Is there any way I can have it run fullscreen on the main monitor and still have the secondary monitor available? Thanks!

Try borderless windowed mode at your max resolution?
Can't say how a macs video card will work with it, but that's what I use on olde windows here.

I thought of that. Can't seem to find borderless windowed mode on the Mac client.

The option should be ingame under system settings.

A macs video card is the same is a PC's video card. Actually people are flashing PC video cards and cramming them into macs and making a couple hundred $$$ per card

Good afternoon, and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

I believe the game will only let you play it on one monitor, so using the fullscreen option will result in the second monitor being inaccessible. As stated in a previous comment, you can try the windowed or borderless fullscreen option (both of which can be found in the graphics/display settings in the in-game configuration settings). Either of these options should allow you to keep your second monitor open.

Please let us know if your issue gets resolved and what resolved it, so we can further assist other players. We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
