The game heart my eyes

Hi,i just started playing FF14 on computer not long time ago and after few days of playing my eyes started hearting me,getting red ,appear blood vesels on my white part of both eyes.I played another mmos but i didn't have any problems so i decided quit the game for few days and my eyes got better.Today i logged in to play again and i can't play,there are some zones in the game wich heart my eyes,i have to close my eyes for few seconds to continue playing.I visited an eye doctor but i don't have any problems with my eyes.Is there anyone else who has same problems as me?

I get similar problems, I also get a migraine that lasts for a couple of days if I play the game for too long... which is either triggered by either not moving enough, or eye strain/dry eyes. Do you wear glasses? If so, you can get anti-screen glare coating on them from your opticians to ease eye strain (well in the Uk you can, afaik) that may help. Use eye drops as well, and take regular breaks

Either the brightness or the gamma. I had to adjust not only my tv screen but the settings in game as well.

lighting is a huge issue when playing this since the scenery is fairly bright in game. I added led lights on the back of my monitor to light the wall behind my monitor and it helped with the strain immensely.

They're not making fun of the person. My immediate thought when I saw the mistake was this image, and got a good chuckle out of the adorable unintended, but likely true, meaning of their post. I.e. They love ffxiv.
