Can we please get more cool looking outfits for male characters?

I'd love to see healer gear that isn't a dress. Trying to glamour my husband's Galka whm is painful... he just can't wear the same things my lala girl can. Usually ends up wearing the scion shirt, cargo shorts, and combat boots because I can't come up with a GOOD outfit... it pains me, glamour is my endgame.

Nothing addressed in the Letter to the Producer, as expected. Hopefully it's because they're discussing paths towards equality and not because they simply don't care.

About half your playerbase wants equal treatment in what many consider to be an important part of the game - we shouldn't have to ask for it, but here we are.

I just find myself baffled. It isn't unusual for the developers to show artwork of new glamour sets during Live Letters...so why do they continue to only show off the female version? It wouldn't be difficult to show the male version next to it.

Please stop alienating those of us who play male characters and consider new glamour options to be a major draw in each new patch.

I really wish they would put as much effort into the male outfits as the female counterparts.

On a side note I wish they would release a male version of the the female outfits on mogstation and vice versa.

It wouldn't be difficult to show the male version next to it.

Printer ink is a special commodity. I don't even know why they print the pictures and show it to the camera when they can just show the picture via the computer stream.

They don't wanna spend resources on this or it's not in the priorities atm. I just hate the male glamours on this game. Few of them are made with male characters in mind. And lately I see many recycled glamour designs and no good effort on adding appealing designs. We are getting recycled recoloured designes yet again on this patch. I just miss the manly shiny metallic plate and chain armours for males and some trousers/vest/leather designs for male casters. It's always weird robes and fabrics we are getting lately.

The only male-only glam I've seen that made me go "dang, wish I could use that" is the Aymeric outfit...oh and the one for Snow or whoever it was (from FF13, never played it personally). Meanwhile, female characters get all the cool stuff. They could've had a pretty cool male version of the Lyse outfit that went on sale recently, but nope.

There are so many things males could get that could even the balance.

Square-Enix needs to open their minds and get on the ball. Female characters have way more than enough options.


They have got to have something more creative than “another long coat.”

There are plenty of styles of gear/clothing for fantasy/medieval male characters.

I mean, at least another long coat would be something. I'd rather have more of the same than have them continue to ignore that male characters even exist half the time...not that some variety wouldn't be welcomed.

By the by, what new glamour items were shown in the Live Letter? I didn't see any mentioned in the digest, and I try not to watch trailers or video from SE if I can avoid it, since they can't be trusted not to load everything with enormous, world-shattering spoilers. They really do need to make a practice of showing off the male versions at the same time as the female versions, though, since given their track record, the absence of a male version at first announcement is a red flag saying there probably won't (yet again) be a male version at all...

In the image announcing the glamour mini game there's what appears to be a new shirt, but it's being worn by a girl so who knows if it's going to be available for everyone or not. But I don't think they showed off anything other than the recolour of the boring Abania sets. Might be a weak patch for glamour all around, not just guys this time. Probably won't know until patch day and we see another 3 female-exclusive items quietly put in the crafting recipes with no male equivalent again.
