Need Help deciding Server.

Yea I used to play a few years back but I just started up again and want to make an Au Ra and I now have the PS4 version so I don't have to worry about server lags now so I'm curious what is the best server to play on right now that has the double exp going on for new characters. With friendly and sometimes random people and a server where you won't have trouble finding people for raids and quests. Now Normally I'm a soloist and like going at my own pace then working with people but at same time I still would like to try raiding and stuff sometimes. And I also like the option just in case. Thanks in advance! Oh and forgot to mention...NA servers only. :P

The status gives you an overall idea of world population. When a world is overpopulated SE will lock them temporarily from character creation and into the world transfer.
My suggestion is to play in the standard world which usually having a solid community. Looking at each world forum can also give a glimpse of world activities.

SE just tweak the party finder function which allow player from across the world in the same data center to run dungeons/trial/ raids together.

So overall, it's not bad to be in a less congested server, you have more chance to kill hunts and lagging, the big disadvantage is the world economy in term of market prices..

Frankly speaking, it's very hard to recommend a world, and it's hard to take one's comment as it may not represent the world condition..

But, in case you play solo, world doesnt matter.. in fact all party finder and duty finder are cross world, you can always play with people from the same data center..

What would you like to consider is does double exp worth in long term? Double exp only apply until one of your class reaches lv 60.. based on my experience hitting lv 60 is very easy while enjoying the main story quest.. but of course you are free to choose

The road to 60 buff doesn't only last until one class hits 60. I'm on a preferred world and have passed 60 on 2 classes, and when I swap to any other class, the road to 60 buff comes back, so it's definitely worth going to a preferred world imo.

But yeah, since party finder and duty finder pull people from the whole datacenter, I'd say it probably doesn't really matter which world you choose, especially if you are more of a solo player.

Midgardsormr is a nice server. I'm not into end game raiding but I do see some parties up in PF. Ive been on midgar since I started FF, community is great in my opinion. But ive never been to any other server, hope you find the server you're looking for!
