Did this one as a RDM. Took a couple tries, but I got through once I knew what to expect. It definitely helps once you figure out you can move forward while the duty action is cast. This was also when I finally figured out after months of playing that duty actions could be done on the PS4 controller by pressing R3 instead of using the touchpad to mouse over it, which made a world of difference lol.

Some first-time fights can be failed easily, you just have to "get used" to the mechanic and go on.

If I fail a solo duty I don't feel hurt in my ego or frustrated because I didn't done something "at first try" but... if something like that happened while I were streaming on twitch I maybe can feel a bit embarassed, 'tho...

On your case, take note the skill is aoe and if you use that near spawn place you can kill a lot of bubbles in one shot.

It took me one try to beat it. All I did was go after the spheres I run to, and sprint if necessary.

To keybind the special action on PC, do the following:

    1. Press the "P" key to access the Actions & Traits tab.
    2. Under the Actions & Traits tab, click on the "General" word. It should display stuff like Auto-Attack, Sprint, Etc.
    3. From the stuff avaiable in the General section, click and drag the "Duty Action" hotbar onto an empty hotbar that you can access easily when the duty starts.

    Hope this helps.

Also, here is a video to done from the bard POV (not mine btw): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNoZzemCNxo

Focus on the orbs closest to the npcs.

System > Keybind >Hotbar> Bottom of the list

You can keybind it for the most comfortable button for this specific fight and then unbind

I failed this duty like 5-6 times. I move with my mouse, so having to click the Duty Actions meant that I'd come to a full stop before I could perform actions. I tried moving with WASD, but I'm unpracticed with that. But as soon as I found out I could keybind the Duty Actions (and did), I was able to complete it that next time.

It was infuriating failing so many times; but once I figured out the "trick", it was a refreshing challenge.

Pretty sure I cleared this in one go as a SAM, but I might have died once. Can't remember. Either way, it wasn't that bad imo. Just gotta keep your head on a swivel. There's a lot to take in. It is all mechanics people should have seen by now, just in quick succession.

Am tank so I'm used to keeping an eye on the field with a lot of crazy camera twirling. Figured out after a few uses of the duty action that it was an AoE and that it had no cast time. Promptly ran back and forth spamming it where the orb paths intersected for best efficiency. You can calculate trajectory based on the lines they leave behind. As she releases more orbs, they will get closer and closer (to make you feel genuinely panicked, haha). Arenvald pulls his weight pretty well so you really only have to actively worry about your side (I kept an eye on him anyway, never trust NPCs who are stated to be noobs in game). I did not worry about DPS once I realized the point was to save the other NPCs. If you try to DPS during that portion, you will fail. I am used to using my arrow keys in other games to navigate so had no problem switching around.

I did not use sprint and the orbs got very close, but cleared it on the first try and watched all the unbelievably cool stuff go down. Fun times!

Just hovering over the duty action should instantly tell everyone that it's both AoE and instant. That's why people should actually read the darned tooltips.
This instance is easy. It's literally following a script. I wasted time by going after the bubbles that Arenvald was about to pop (since at early parts there really was nothing better to do) and I still hardly let any bubbles go past the top half.

The bubbles have specific paths and come out as groups. If you pay attention to that, you can time your use of the skill to hit no less than four. Ignore Lakshmi. Don't bother dealing damage to her, it's irrelevant. Never stop (except early on when there are no bubbles). Keep to right side where Arenvald and Fordola do not come, but do keep in mind that sometimes they will let a bubble or two past them, so sprint for a save. While you're going there and back, destroy the bubbles on the way.

No matter what, you should set up your game in such a way as to be able to use the skill on the fly without interrupting movement. If you cannot do that...then you're going to be severely handicapped in this. Using mouse for skills and movement both is not considered a priority set-up, so the game is not optimally balanced for such delays. It's still not impossible with really good reaction time and precision, but people that use it generally do so exactly because they lack that when using the computers in the first place, mixing keys or having to look at the keyboard and such. So yeah...
