    POTD

I have heard a lot of times on the novice network that POTD isn't good for understanding the true nature your class and powers. I beg to differ, I have a level 30 PLD and my POTD gear is 99,99 so I decided to do the highest level of the POTD and see what the level 60 powers are. It is safe to use them at POTD because there is no streeful situations to be worried about and this kind of practice is more fun than beating up a practice dummy. I have said this on the novice network only to be shunned and told i'm wrong.

Knowing you and how you misinform novices, I bet there's more to this story than you're letting on.

My popcorn and I are ready.

If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Really? You're really trying to stir up that drama again? This is just a round about way to complain about the Novice Network on Faerie not putting up with you.

Frankly speaking in my own experience you can't use PoTD to fully understand how your class should be played till almost near the 'Savage' content where actual tactics are necessary. Floors 1-60 where the majority of the player base is running, and let's be fair it's mostly 51-60, doesn't give you an accurate representation of your class in the slightest.

The reason is because the enemies are not threatening enough to learn proper group coordination and rotation. By the time you can even begin to use a proper rotation or a basic combo even the enemy or enemies are dead. PotD is a sneak peek at best, a means to get your feet wet more or less.

It is still the best way to level up .. doing fates is boring and useless .. tell me what other is there to level up an alt other than POTD?

I never said it was bad for leveling, just that it's bad for learning a proper Lv60 rotation. The only time you get to use a proper rotation is against the boss, which takes awhile to get to.

I still disagree with you if you do enough POTD's you can build a rotation and understand your class and you are wrong it doesn't take that long to get the the boss fight at POTD

Compared to jumping into content you can properly practice in? Yes, it does. Stone, Sky, Sea is a good place to practice, and you get into that immediately rather than traverse 10 floors to, same as any actual dungeon, trial, or raid. PotD is the kiddie pool. Argue it all you want but the facts speak for themselves.
