I'm losing my faith in PvP with every patch and I'm probably the only one that believe that's not going to happen because they don't want to hurt the "healer community".

If nothing happens by 4.2 i'm quitting this game for good. Because I just can't deal with another batch of «trashmob>boss» dungeons and the same formula the devs find "safe".

I don't blame you one bit. In many ways I share your sentiments too. Much of what held my interest in the game was lost with 4.0 and the many questionable changes they've made since then.

Healers are not way too strong in large scale PvP

Even a very skilled DPS would not be able to solo a capable healer, that's fine. And if the class difference on teams were evenly distributed there wouldn't be much of a "healer OP problem". The issue is the numbers they're in and the eternal resources they have. Peeps seemingly have understood how OP heals are if they team up. In just about every match I've been in lately there is a small healer team holding mid with little to no effort. Random pug teams don't know how to coordinate cc and burst, and it comical to watch healers survive for 5+ mins long fights with less than 0 effort lol.

So, yeah, nerf the soaring buff, and make their resources a bit more expandable. How a scholar could ever run out of MP is one of mankind's greatest mysteries. Or make DPS have eternal resources for burst potential, that could work too, and would be equally comical.

I thought it was a fair balance point when a good healer could sustain against a good DPS, but could not deal much damage to them. Now they can, and can still sustain against them. That's a point to consider as well.

Now, if some uppity healer comes and attacks me while I'm pushing mammets, I wave to them and keep pushing mammets. Can't heal that tower back up. Kill me? Okay, I'll be back on your tower in a few seconds.

As it currently stands, people taking advantage of the advantage multiple healers can have quickly saps the fun out of the mode. My response to 2 or more healers is to literally ignore them and hit something that can't be healed. If I have to waste efforts, I might as well do so pursuing the main objectives.

I'm actually of the mindset now that I want to see this healer stacking meta get worse. Won't do it myself, but if it takes completely imbalancing matches to see a positive change be made, then go for it.

    Also, hi Julianna

I'm certainly doing my part - I only play healer in PvP these days, because the rest is borderline unplayable and I typically try to get some small scale fights in the northern basin to deny people ceruleum there after mid is secured. I once had a bard literally /grovel and /cry to me after sending them back to base over and over, so I gave them a hug and left them the CE tanks out of pity <.<

Often when I see another healer, I just wave at them or pet them instead of fighting, since we both know it's pointless to fight, which kinda leads PvP ad absurdum. Cruise chasers also like to get cocky and try to kill you, only to realize it's futile without support. As SCH, you can do that mostly on Broil-Lustrate, summon the fairy if you need a bit of extra.

It's fun to be broken for sure. I encourage people to try it out - the more healers, the more absurd PvP is going to become overall. No violence on the battlefield plx!

As a DPS, if a healer is anywhere nearby, I only find myself being useful trying to kill mechs 90% of the time. Player damage vs. towers is almost negligable, so unless you're pushing the core enough of a percentage to win the game it feels like a waste of time. Trying to push mammets or kill anyone with a mindful healer nearby is a no-go.

I've seen great success applying blitz tactics and keeping up a pressure offense. Pushing mammets, quickly rushing objectives before enemies can regain a defensive posture, and NOT having a mild-O over mid every few minutes. It's not foolproof, and it both requires good coordination and team support, but pressure and momentum really prove effective (which in effect also applies to the wild healer meta currently).

I got the mount, and I'll still be helping friends to work toward it, but I can happily take a sanity break (and I've got video work that's starting to pile up) perhaps til things get fixed.

While I'm quite certain I've. . . um, taken that way out of context, you've got my attention. <_<
