Hmm, the processor is a little dated, but it should handle FFXIV without any trouble. The ram is, what I would consider in "starter mode," as you pretty much will want to upgrade to 16+ down the road. I'm kinda iffy on the 3gb graphics card. That just seems a little low to me; and I'm fairly sure that with only 3gb graphics and 8gb system memory, you will be running with your graphics setting somewhere in the middle, and pushing 50-60fps at best.

I know it takes a bit more money, but future-proofing yourself when it comes to getting a new gaming rig is ALWAYS a good idea. Computer tech advances so quickly that lower end machines will get left in the dust a lot sooner than most people would think.
