Haha, that just means the bard in the party played the party buff that increases max HP. For some reason if that happens during charybdis it just kills you.
You guys hit enrage? wow, im honestly surprised.
Ive had ppl dead the whole fight, and win just fine.
Heck my 1st time in the fight (a random PuG), there was something like 18 deaths, and we still won faster than most of the groups ive played with in a PuG, and no one cleared before.
But yeah, start another one, w/o the practice tag, and even if u spend the whole fight dead, u should clear np.
O2S on the other hand will require u try, as u can wipe the group easily.
CLAIRE PENDRAGON
See, my first time in o1s, we cleared on the second pull. I go in with a dif party, and we wiped over and over to enrage at like 45%. 3 people died frequently(one of which was the other healer), mainly because one person couldnt stay away from the other two lol. Some people are full of surprises._.
The first few times my DPS was very low, after I learned the battle some and saw the phases it improved dramatically. So the enrages were my fault some in the beginning, however by the end I was able to pull 3400 dps which from what I understand should be enough to down O1S. Our healers did leave a number of our dps dead for quite sometime also, up to 5 minutes or so.
OS1 requires a bit less than 19k group DPS, so yeah as a DD you're pulling your weight with that (assuming you're expecting your tanks and healers to also do something). At the same time, if you're a RDM, that places you in the bottom 25% of all RDMs on logs, so there's also a lot of room for improvement (current top RDM performance is 5749 DPS). Average (50%) RDM is around 3960 DPS. But as said, you're already covering your part of the DPS check and now that you've cleared the fight and remembering each part better, your DPS will surely only improve from there! The first few times my DPS was very low, after I learned the battle some and saw the phases it improved dramatically. I probably don't have the same gear as the top RDM that are currently running the content though, so I would say some of my lower performance is from that. As far as rotation goes, well I could probably improve some but I am actually not sure how. I use all my procs when they are up and manafication and embolden as well. My timing with things could be improved some but I am not sure that would account for more than a few hundred.OS1 requires a bit less than 19k group DPS, so yeah as a DD you're pulling your weight with that. If you're interested, you can use the compare function on the logs to compare your playstyle with RDMs with higher performance. You can check the timelines of your ability use, how many times you and they use each ability, their action number and activity % (so you can see if they're simply managing to use more skills than you), and so on.I probably don't have the same gear as the top RDM that are currently running the content though, so I would say some of my lower performance is from that. But 3400 for your first clear is a great place to start from! I hope you didn't read my message as me saying it wouldn't be. I just meant to say that if you care about your performance a lot and take improvement seriously, this is what you can look for. But if you don't, that's fine, you're certainly doing well enough for this content!![]()

Do it, your gear is more than good enough, melds are definitely a go to but not so much required until later on in like 3s and 4s but even then if you practice your rotation and make use of your role abilities you we be perfectly fine. GL to you
If you cant clear something at min item level there's a problem with the balance, so yes your gear is fine at 320 or lower as long as it meets minimum requirements. a higher item level will just make it easier.
Here's a link for timelines of all the current savage fights. You can use them to help plan your CDs or just to see when exactly mechanics happen.
