Character emote custom text binding.

Hello everyone!

I think everyone agree at how awesome the emotes are and how much more life they add to the player-player interactions.
We even have so many, I sometime have a hard time remembering their individual text command.

I would like to propose an addition to the configuration of FFXIV: custom text binding for emotes. Every time a player writes the custom text in the chat window, the emote is performed. It can be used as a command (i.e. /my_custom_text_emote) or be a regular word that is part of a sentence (i.e. hahahah! = /laugh, "Woah! What is this?" woah = /surprised, "This is funny! lol" lol = /chuckle).

Not only would emote be performed faster by everyone (easier to remember and gives you two commands for a single emote), it also allows the possibility to add more life spontaneously into conversation. Currently, our characters stand still while speaking, but with this new text binding command, characters would spontaneously perform gestures during the conversation each time a bound word is written by you.

Not only that, players that are NOT interested in this feature can simply leave it blank and continue their daily lives as if it never existed!

I think WoW had something similar to this.

Any time you typed lol or haha or something like that it would make your character do the /laugh emote. Typing certain things in chat should make your character do an emote, even if you didn't type the actual command.

That would be neat but I think I'll stick to emotes for now.
