Rival Wings and bots

Is bots and botting going to carry over to Rival Wings? I do wonder if SE plays their own game sometimes. I know people post, report and take video all the time of bots in pvp, but I don't see any results from that. Is it the fact that such a large number of players are doing it, that rather than lose a number of players and their accounts, they just overlook it? Is it more about the numbers SE is getting, more so than exploiting and cheating? Wasn't there another mmo that cheating was so widespread and unchecked that it killed the game itself?

Just some questions I ask myself so many times, I thought I'd post them here and get feedback on them.

People bot in Feast, presumably for the achievements, so its safe to assume they will do the same for Rival Wings.

Bots have been a problem since like April and Square Enix hasn't said a single word on the matter. At this point, it is safe to say that they don't care and that nothing will be done about it. They're getting their sub money.

Well there were significantly less bots before exp was introduced :^)

The best way we can avoid this is to QUEUE.

Everyone. Bring a friend. Form a Light Party. Queue up, and take a spot before bots do. And for the ones we know are botting, utterly crush them. Then report them. Then crush them some more.

This is the biggest new thing we PvPers are getting in nearly 2 years. Don't let anyone ruin this for us.

Problem is the bots don't care if they lose, it's still exp they get for not actually being at their computer.

They don't care if they get reported either probably, given SE doesn't actually ever do anything about them. As an experiment when they released the new pvp reporting path, I began reporting the same bot every day for a month straight. Same canned response every time, and the same character is STILL botting daily, having leveled 4-5 jobs to 70 in frontlines. SE might as well market their own bot programs to make more money at this point.

Then defeat them with numbers. Queue in larger numbers than the bots. If you get one in party, kick it as soon as you can.

Take names. No need to post them, of course, but spread the word throughout the community. When people know it's a bot and they have enough numbers of their own to vote kick, make use of it. Assuming nothing will be done and thus doing nothing just let's them continue doing it. And where SE perhaps fails to move, I'm all about making a community effort to handle it ourselves, within the means of the system of course.

Simply put, if botting isn't a violation they'll deal with in a timely manner, then it's a "different playstyle" you can kick immediately and be well within your rights.

I don't bot. At all.

But I worry that I'm not much better, because my computer goes into a minor seizure when things get messy. Should I go back to earning the Makai look by Gold Saucer instead?
