    Matches can go VERY quickly actually. What drags them out or worse, makes them end in the blink of an eye is poor momentum, diverting for the wrong things, and just general lack of awareness. People will scream for support in the caves while holding mid, or drop a tower/core push for mid, or hell, I just lost a match because cannons were too busy trying to pick off random passerbys while people were literally running in on the core. A NIN one percented the core for the win, while the cannons let him in, the chaser didn't see him and who knows what our Brute Justice did.

    By the way, we had mid all match, so that shows just how much it actually won't matter at some point.

    Getting mid and holding it will win you 9/10 matches. Really the only way you lose with mid is your team doesn't know what they are doing which most of the time people controlling mid know what they are doing. My only problem with the mount is it seems small for an ape by ffxiv standards. Also the 160 games I played the most absurd thing I was told was "Don't use brute mega beam on people its for towers". Its stuff like this why I don't defend people getting flamed cause they can't take the 5 secs it takes to read their abilities.

    Edit- Forgot about close second thing, "I read the ability for the missile in opp and it says it does more damage the closer it is." (Proceeds to face hug tower with opp.) Stuff like this has been a common occurrence I don't know if trolling or just special anymore.

    I guess most of my teams were stupid, because being on Ravens for 10 games out of 11, they usually got to the generator first and held it for most of, if not the entire game, but I only won a single game out of all of those.

    On an unrelated note, I really think there needs to be a melee range dead zone on the cannons so that removing players from them doesn't require such a concentrated effort. If you let them get them close enough to attack you, you should be forced to deal with them on foot or at least have to rely on the other cannon for assistance. As it currently is, they can just aim at their feet and kill any melee players who come after them in a matter of a few seconds.

    Around to the side and "front" of the cannon (this is considering the steps the rear), they can't target you.

    Can ranged get their cast time back in pvp? or reduce bolt cooldown for melee, by like, 45 seconds?

    If ranged were half casters again, each shot would have its damage increased, to keep things proportional. Would you want that?

    So I finally figured out what the Oppressor needs and what it's been missing. It needs the buff that the ice in Shatter has that reduces damage from magic/ranged attacks only it needs to be much stronger, 75%-90%.

    Huh? I'm missing something. Why? Soloing oppressor from their tower takes full time up to the enemy base. It's just escorts vs swarm that makes the difference, which you have to wonder why would a winsetter go alone.
