You get people that will wait on the pad and camp for BJ and then proceed to run into opposing teams and get melted and waste a BJ and then turn around and grab another BJ asap. I've seen it on my team and I've won matches with the opposing team having these kinds of players on them.

I'm going to disagree with you there and say the fact that there is a blind spot is not a strategy, it is a design flaw that should be fixed.

Nothing is foolproof. Cannons have a max range, and even just in front of the cannon/behind the core is a blind spot for them. But! Most of the cannons' blind spots are pretty bad positions to be in. If you get an Oppressor that close uncontested, honestly that's the fault of the defending team for not paying attention. I've been on the losing end of that before too. But then again, that's why I keep my map open, and stay watchful. Beyond that, the blind spot is a literal death trap if they see you there.

Wait you don't want people to have to pay attention? OMG! I want to Netflix and PvP too!

A strategy would be rendering cannons unusable through harassing people trying to get to them or pincer attacking the base or something. Besides, fixing a blind spot would actually force people to think a little more.

My biggest gripe with Rival Wings is the animation lag between the AoE's and movement. It shows I am out of the AoE yet I die anyways.

Also it brought back the one thing people hated about 3.x PvP. Instant kills. Melee LB's one shot me. Well a brute justice one shots you now. Stun and one-shot. Also Red has a clear advantage over the Middle Generator.

To be fair, the blind spot is only threat when there's an oppressor. Can watch the spot all day but won't be able to stop it shooting core directly.
To me, the oppressor fire range is the flaw. It can hurt me with mega beam, but ranged LB isn't as far as it to make a dent.

I still despise mid in it's current form. If for no other reason that for what it's done to half the playerbase. Without mid, you have a bunch of people who sit around and complain that they don't have mid and the game is over unless they keep trying to get mid back over and over again even when there's 2 minutes left on the clock and your team has the advantage. On the other hand, when in control of mid, you have a bunch of people who consider the game won and just phone it in, don't bother collecting CE, don't look at their map, waste mechs, and any number of other things. And then when they lose, they're in shcok that they're supposed "magic win button" actually still requires effort on their part. And by mid, I guess I should clarify, I mean the generator if that wasn't clear.

I would like to see matches end faster.. 20 minutes is a lot of time for 1 game..

Matches can go VERY quickly actually. What drags them out or worse, makes them end in the blink of an eye is poor momentum, diverting for the wrong things, and just general lack of awareness. People will scream for support in the caves while holding mid, or drop a tower/core push for mid, or hell, I just lost a match because cannons were too busy trying to pick off random passerbys while people were literally running in on the core. A NIN one percented the core for the win, while the cannons let him in, the chaser didn't see him and who knows what our Brute Justice did.

By the way, we had mid all match, so that shows just how much it actually won't matter at some point.
