Prob best to have both I guess, personal rewards supplementary to the big team prize.

Just so people have something to do when we're losing by a landslide. Usually if both of our towers are destroyed but we've hardly made a dent in the other team, people just declare "it's lost" and start arguing instead of maintaining max effort.

I think the comeback mechanics are a bit weak when you're really far behind to feel like you have a legit chance of coming back. If you're getting crushed it would take nothing short of airdropping an oppressor near their towers to change things, but it can still take a long time waiting for the inevitable with the long distance from base to enemy core.
