Perform: what are your initial thoughts?

unpopular opinion but I think it ranks up there with diadem and pvp as being the biggest waste of development time and resources so far in this game.

im gonna go out a limb here and suggest that programming music notes to an animation is no where near the development cost of PvP or Diadem. unpopular opinion, sure +1. well thought out opinion, probably not.

My initial thought was: cool! Emptied my bard's hotbar and placed the notes. Then realized I don't have the skill to even play simple arpeggios properly and swapped to another job for some tome capping. If we had macros I could make little melodies of my own. It's not like the Perform ability is loud enough to disturb anyone, with or without macros.

They should have let us macro it, I fear this will become the next failure (after Diadem V1.0, V2.0 and Lord of Verminnion), I hope they add macro options.

I'd have picked up BRD again to play with this, but oh well.
