Need help with Bard Lvl 70 gear

Hey !

From a quick looking around, Critical Hit is obviously the go-to stat for Bard. I have tried to design myself a suitable gearset, and I could use some help from you guys to check it and tell me if it's right or wrong. My intuition says it's a bit unbalanced (slightly too little DH, maybe too much deter, slightly too little SS ?), but I can't say for sure, so....

Ah, and an important note is that I barely ever raid, and the only genji gear that I could afford are accessories as I never went higher than o1s. Also, for what it's worth, I can craft the 320 and pentameld it if that happens to be optimal.

Swap 330 Ivalice belt with 340 Lost Allagan belt. +more dex +deter is better than sks.
Otherwise, all good in your case.

Surely aiming for all i340 is better than using i330 or lower gear due to the higher DEX values, no?

if you never participate in savage then go for substats because it's not necessary to have all 340 gear for it because you will never be participating in high-end content anyways.

Hey, there was actually a reason why I picked the ivalice one here. It's based on a guide I read about bard ( here : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...RIbKNNJk4/edit )

In that guide, the author states that, to succeed in doing a triple Empyreal arrow under Mage's ballad, one of the condition is to have at least 750 Skillspeed. That seemed like a good investment skillspeed-wise for a nice and easy obtainable result (even in my situation). That's why I tried to reach 750+ (756 on the gearset), and also explains why I melded 2 grade VI SKS on the boots as well ^^

well if you just go with 1-2 lower parts sub stats can overcome mainstats but going with more lower gear parts will result in main stats > substats if u like it or not - so Raldo got a point : /
