Chocobo music

Don't know about others but I find the current music when riding my Choco to be far too brash & brassy. It is over-orchestrated and becomes annoying after a few minutes. Can we bring back the FFXI chocobo theme?

I like the current chocobo music very much. I like how it fades when you stop moving and go full power when you run with your chocobo. I think the current music is appropriate and not annoying.

I understand some people don't like it, it's ok. There is a button near your speakers, you can turn it off when it gets annoying to you. It's a simple and fast solution to your problem. Also, it is not against the FFXIV policy to simply mute the game and put your own music.

IMHO - the music in XIV is fine, people need to learn how to use their speakers.

I can't stand the chocobo song. I have my music muted for the sake of never having to hear it.

While I do agree that XI had a better soundtrack overall (this MAY be nostalgia talking), this game has it's share of great songs as well!

Which one? The extremely awesome Wild Arms style theme or the meh company one? if you're talking about the former, I will personally hunt and kill you.

Also: You want Final Fantasy XI songs, you go play Final Fantasy XI and / or just mute game sound and put XI themes on the playlist, no offense.

I am still hoping for a /chocobo music off command. You chocobo everywhere and all the music you ever hear is the Uldah theme and the chocobo theme. I reverted to listening to my audio player instead of ingame music just because of that.
