I in fact remove bloodletter for my quick bar.
...what? Why would you remove bloodletter from your hotbar when its clearly the better option on single targets? Put it back, use it during boss-fights or if you only have a single target...

No class is only AoE or only single target - that would be bad design. You need to learn to read the situation at hand and act accordingly to that - everything else will make you less than a good player, sorry. Blindly using things when they're not on cooldown isnt playing good either. You seem to not understand certain basics of certain classes - thats alright, as long as you're willing to learn. Either by taking advice or by yourself - before you enter group-content with said class.
Also: Somethings are either wrong or right, they dont require an opinion that you can differ from.
"Bard is single target dps" isnt an opinion, its just a wrong statment

Calling it here...this is getting us nowhere. Maybe it's the string of ridiculous threads that have been started lately, but enough has to be enough at some point. I have never removed a single job ability from my hotbars - granted, with DRK, RDM, AST, and SAM, I end up using most if not all my skills during a dungeon run. I am not quite sure what you were hoping to gain by starting this thread, but from the posts you've been putting up today, it's starting to become clear why you were getting advice in the first place. You need to learn how to play your job.

You shouldn't reject advice offered if it's evident they are nice and are trying to help. Try and believe the best if possible. I do think gamers have become nastier lately though, and a lot of interactions between them seem angrier than earlier MMO days. Like now it seems to be expected to not be a burden and do research out of game more than people trying to teach others, and people get mad about things like DPS a lot more.

I remember going into Ampador HM and we had a BLM that had a lvl 17 rod and all gathering accessories, not even joking, they had so little HP and pumped out so little damage that they were actively hindering the run. I suggested they get better gear for this kind of content, since you legit buy better stuff from vendors, I was told to stop being an elitist asshole. Also had an Antitower run where a MNK literally wasn't able to keep up Greased Lightning and was just mashing random buttons, I told him he can get more out of his class by doing combos, he told me to mind my own business and that as a healer, I clearly don't know what I am talking about (despite MNK being my main for raids)

Some people simply cannot comprehend that they do things wrong, whether by ignorance or stubbornness. I want to help people get better, but they take advice as a personal attack, so many times I just can't be bothered to try.

I won't offer advice like you requested but instead a thought. How do you know those players gave your Samurai advice? What if it was a plea? Or a suggestion? Maybe some direction? It could've been guidance. Or wait, maybe it was a recommendation based on prior suggestions. Also, help is always nice. Even a little counsel.
