I like doing the dungeon and stuff if i do raid then advice seem to be give. second i also have mentor stat. third i play different character through i don't away agree with some advice i take advice when it seem good or logical.

on side notes please don't refrer me as they. They mean more one person i clean not more then one person. I don't like gender pronoun because butch the English language and only show moral insane, if you like refer me as he.

if advice see help with dps or such i will take it. i am sorry i was frustated

Disagreeing with advice doesn’t make the advice bad or wrong. Also, being a mentor doesn’t make you immune to advice nor mistakes. I am also a mentor; doesn’t mean that I’m perfect, and if someone wants to give me advice on how to play, say, NIN or DRG, please do. I could most definitely use it because I don’t play those jobs enough to perform adequately on them like I would a main job (BRD, AST, SCH, or RDM).

This is probably petty of me to point this out, but “they” is being used in a gender-neutral way because some individuals get their undies in a wad when they are referred to by the incorrect gender. There’s no way of us knowing your true gender outside of you telling us, hence why people refer to you as “they”. It’s no longer just a plural pronoun in English, and has evolved into something more, encompassing both the plural “they” (as in multiple people) and “they” (as in “he or she”, just shorter).

Mentor myself. You wouldn't believe how often I ask for advice from fellow mentors (or even returners who know a thing or two about what I'm asking), on things I don't know. Constant self-improvement and all that. Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of strength and a desire to improve.

Blame English language. In Britain, "they" is used as a gender neutral pronoun whereas "it" refers to something that isn't human (more condescending than "they" as a result). So don't worry if we use "they".

It's ok to be frustrated at times. We all get frustrated at times. But if you get advice, try it out, see how it plays out. You never know, you might find yourself doing better. Best of luck out there in Eorzea!

Gonna take a stab in the dark and bet that OP has a lot of people in their blacklist.

Also OP: English doesn't have real gender neutral pronoun other than "they/them/their" so people use them interchangeably for one person/many people if they themselves are not aware of the target's gender.

I hope we never get damage meter because we see said elitism come out in it full ugleness. today i was play my samuri and a paladin want give me advice at end of the dungeon on how play my samuri.

also OP, a lot of people are giving you great advice but they dont tackle the real issue you're having. you mentioned you leveled up to 70 to learn your class and thats how it should be, but thats coming from a perspective of this being a "single player game" and not an MMO. Don't get me wrong, you can totally play this game as a single player game doing the MSQ and side quests, but once you join group content you open yourself to feedback from others. You have to remember: other people's content is relying on your abilities as well as theirs when you join group content.

That's just the nature of cooperative multiplayer games.

sometime advice can useful sometime it isn't for example take summoner.

summoner is has two ruins one cost more mana to use and better use while on dreadwyrem trance to use when it not pratical.

machinist and bard are single target range dps. while paladin and dark knight and as warriors are convince that they desire grabs as many mobs as possible this concept isn't away work for most dps who don't have many mass dps moves. machinast has one flame throw which if theory should have oppsite effect on that gaus barrel instead over heating it release heat but it has effect of increase heat to graus barrel. summoner and black mage have single target damage spells. the tanks spend they time and desire want everyone mass dps everything down most damage dealing jobs don't have mass dps moves so instead help they damage dealer counter-part they make worst on them.
