    Screwed on the Falcon Mount

    So I've been playing the game consistently since 2.0 launched. This event comes around and I'm certain that I'll get the mount. Time goes along and the time comes for me to get the mount. Nothing. I call tech support stay on hold for over 45 minutes and finally get someone. They look into the issue and see that the problem is that I purchased a copy of FFXIV for my PS4 in August so that I could play the game while I travel out of state for vacation. Apparently I was given free days and I wasn't even aware that you got free days if you already owned the game. The guy on the phone said he would see what he can do and talked to a supervisor then returned to say, "It's a shame that we can't do anything for you since you haven't missed a sub payment since 2.0."
    So, is this how you treat loyal subscribers?

    Yes, every new copy of the base game you register does give you a free month.
    While it may not be the most advertised inclusion, it's not exactly kept a secret.

    I'm sorry for your loss, perhaps it will be available again one day in the future!

    It is a shame. Sounds like the person understood the problem and was sympathetic but lacked the power to help. It has been brought up before, doesn't make sense that you're effectively punished for paying them even more money than required by buying an additional copy of the game. The terms of the promotion are flawed.

    Yeah, but, the promotion clearly stated that any free time added would not be counted. If you were highly concerned about the mount, and I wouldn't be if I were you, then you should have made a monthly payment anyway to qualify for the mount.

    I wouldn't worry about it. The mount was definitely nothing spectacular anyway.

    My other family account didn't get falcon mount but shows in my bank records they have been charging every month last 6 months straight. Think promotion had bugs to it. It's over now so there is nothing can do to still get one. SE never fixes mistakes and there support is just automated response back. Like this account pay 6 months at a time and didn't get mine till next phase. Should got mine on first phase when they was handed out.
