Question regarding veteran rewards

Hi! I wasn't sure where to put this so I put it here for now since they give items but I am curious, did they remove the veteran rewards that gave mounts and items? and if so why? I was checking the rewards (because I wanted a mount I saw I could get from the rewards) and I only saw the ranks with different armour sets nothing else?

it seems stupid to just have armour now, and not even that cool looking armour :/

Other than the falcon mount being messed up IMHO reward wise (this isn't a venteran award)...no they are still there.

They are given out based on the concurrent days of subscription....I got the cloud set recently for being subbed for 90 days? I think....its an incremental thing.

What mount are you seeking?

the bahummut one, but as said when I go to the official sites Veteran rewards section it only shows 4 ranks now, not how it did before like 60 days - , 90 days - etc etc

With regards to the mounts and minions, you can go to the guy in Gridania (Jonathas <Master of The Rolls> in Old Gridania), and buy the minions and mounts with “achievement points”. You earn achievement points from completion of in-game achievements. So they’re still there, just obtained in a different way.

It still seems stupid :/ fair enough you can still earn them, but they don't seem like rewards , it's only 4 sets now, before there was tons and tons of true awards and I loved it

There has been talk about adding more. The developers made it known they weren’t going to leave the Rewards like this when they changed it.

Personally, I was glad to see them bring down some of the later rewards, since the Squall outfit was 4 years worth of subscription service. While I had 720+ days paid (probably a little more since I paid my sub again after they changed the reward system), there’s no way of knowing if I would still be playing the game 2 years from now, and any additional rewards would seem nigh impossible to get for even newer players. A lot of them would see the outfit and think “Well, who knows if I would even get that—it’s 4 years away for me” and cease to even care about it.
