Red Moons! Glitch Or Something More...?

I can confirm having seen the Main Moon as being red at one point (even before Dalamud was part of the equasion)..
Saw it when i was out gathering in La Noscea over 6 months ago! Even though i can confirm having seen it, i can't confirm it being a glitch or part of the story line...

Well I'm hoping maybe someone can ask the Dev Team about it and get back to us. Because if it is a glitch then they might want to be aware of it so it can be fixed. Though it is a cool glitch... But if it's not then it may be kinda cool to think that only a handful of players have witnessed this odd phenomenon. I want an achievement that reads "You have seen the rare red moon"! :P

i also saw the moon turn red a few times already in the last year, before the whole dalamud incidents.
maybe it just means the prinnys were ripe for picking ^~^

Maybe it's related to this year's god, Althyk the Keeper. He commands the element of Earth, though, so it must be more orange/brown if that would be the case... Oh, well...
On the other hand, with Dalamud increasing its size, it could be the main moon reflecting Dalamud's red radiation.
Finally, it could be a glitch/bug
Hopefully we get some information reading next editions of local papers; as you can see on my signature, Petyr Winsome is having an interview with Cid Garlond and he's absolutely interested on Dalamud's changes.

...and I thought the moons in the sky were just coded as one item. I think I was wrong.

It could also be related to the Eorzean calendar. I currently do not see a red moon (large) in my game, and it's currently 5/27, which would place Eorzea in about early summer, based off an Earth calendar.

This could be stuff similar to what we saw in FFXI (I KNOW, SORRY FOR BRINGING IT UP, GOSH!) where it would only snow in Batallia Downs during "Vana'diel Winter."

At this point we are right aware of Dalamud's changes and I'm pretty sure most of us have experienced Hunter's Moon event months ago. The issue here is the main moon turning red (the bigger one), not Dalamud (though it could be related somehow).
On a side note, I'm still wondering why they draw a big red moon on that picture and not the real situation by that time (big normal moon + small red moon).

PS: I've noticed right now that the marmot on the picture is holding the event's earring. I haven't noticed that when I saw that picture for the first time lol.

Okay, see there's two issues with that though... One like someone mentioned, the "Hunter's Moon" is actually referring to the smaller moon, IE Dalamud. The larger one, the moon itself, isn't supposed to be red. During the time the moon was red I found another player and asked him to look at it. It was red on my screen, but white on his. And those in other areas whom I asked said it was white too. So strangely enough it was just red to me. I'm still thinking it was just a glitch of some sort, yet I'd still like to get some clarification on it.

But I can note two things on it: I stayed in the same area for an Eorzean day and when the moon came out later on it was white again. But during the time it was appearing as red I had finished a leve and teleported back to the aetherial gate. When I loaded in the moon was still red until morning.

It seems they devs have gone silent since announcing the New Year. Coincidence? Or hard at work on 1.21 and beyond.

Those large red main moons make me excited with anticipation.
