Lv70s should not have invisible daily post limits.

I can understand daily post limits for people who have low level characters and such, but max level characters shouldn't, or at the very least you could show us where these limits are, so we have some kind of idea of how much we can post.

Still don't see why the daily post limits are needed; it makes it difficult for a player to engage in any kind of meaningful conversation when the number of posts you can make is limited.

I can understand there being a limit of how many THREADS you can start, but posts? C'mon. Why even have forums if you're going to put such ridiculous limits on us?

It's because the massive spamming that went on in the Beta Test forum between phases 2 and 3 of the Beta Test so spooked SE they had to add posting restrictions there first just to bring order to the chaos, and presumably it so spooked them they decided to implement here on the official forum as well upon ARR's launch so as to prevent a potential repeat of that nonsense. And the posting restrictions are technically not invisible, they notified players about it when it was implemented (although the post in question has kind of fallen to the bottom of the pile).

Yes, they can be annoying but the annoyance is mostly momentary, this is SE's forum so they can implement whatever restrictions they like. There are plenty of unofficial fan forums and social networking sites you can use instead like Reddit if these restrictions are too offputting.

So apparently for some weird reason, it resets at 3-4PM EST.

I don't know why they can't specify WHEN it resets, or even let you know how many posts you have remaining, though.

That's the LEAST they could do. And if they wanted to prevent trolling, or flaming or what not, why not a 3-4 hour cooldown once you hit your post limit? 3-4 hours is plenty long enough for a moderator to ban/suspend/etc a troll if someone was trolling and hit their post limit, but yet it isn't so restrictive that it is impossible to engage in any meaningful discussion.
