I'm having trouble with my bag getting full quickly and wonder if the developers can give us an option to auto pass everything and be able to use the treasure loot option to take the items we want only.

Considering that loot rules for important things like the endgame fights are arguably still messed up, I can't see SE bothering to do anything about generic loot for a long time.
I think we're stuck either discarding stuff left, right, and centre on a regular basis, sticking it on a retainer to sell, or frequently finding a NPC to sell it all to.
The loot system will be going through drastic changes in version 2.0. Among these changes, they will include a similar feature to the auto-pass that you have suggested.![]()

There was a system in WAR, that allowed you to auto queue up your response to gear and other loot. It was broken up by different categories... Currency, equip-able loot, other loot, drops, etc... Anyway, it allowed you to set, need, greed, pass etc on the different categories so you weren't always bothered with the pop up. In heavy events with lots of activity it was a very nice feature to have.
There are it's issues however, so perhaps some more refinement on being able to set our responses, like for example it would only be for a certain rarity, and after that it would still pop up... Ether way, I'm excited.![]()

Maybe not the best one but It was a good one, whats so wrong with the entire partys loot going into one pool then people lotting/passing on it? it stops all the trouble of people getting ifrit weapons they already have.
thank you that guy feeble mind didn't comprehend that logic
