To add on to the OP..

There are 2 of us in the LS that got 7/7 on moogle before getting 20 nuts. Another is 6/7 and a few are 5/7. None of them have more then 10 nuts.

Sure the nuts can all be passed to one person so they can get that 1 weapon they want but if that was the design then why not make them tradeable? (I understand people would just sell them to make a profit but can SE not come up with a better solution then letting 20 nuts rot?)

The loot system needs a serious revamp. I would of simply made nothing drop but nuts 100% of the time and after 20 fights you can trade them in and get the 1 weapon you wanted. 140 fights for all 7 weapons seems right on par with the time sink SE intended.
