    Drop System for Primal Battles

    After running ifrit for over 50 wins I was weaponless, not happy about that. Finally got a few drops from that fight which was good. Now we are doing the Moggle Mog fight, and I have gotten a few drops and a few nuts.

    The issue here is, one of our lsmates whom had 19 nuts and 6 weapons had gotten his 20th nut and instead of turning them in for his harpoon, which would waste ls time, he waited and we fought again. Guess what he got the harpoon the next run. Now I understand that this is all random luck but I mean after all those runs and all those drops he now gets to discard 20 kupon nuts.

    Please just make the nuts a 100% reward for completing the quest. This means 20 runs per weapon max meaning 10 hours of game play per weapon. 70 hours of gameplay is more than enough time to spend in a bcnm that has equipment that can hardly be considered "endgame" worthy.

    I know you released this content as a filler until you have other stuff ready, but honestly how can you justify not being able to pass weapons to other people.

    To add on to the OP..

    There are 2 of us in the LS that got 7/7 on moogle before getting 20 nuts. Another is 6/7 and a few are 5/7. None of them have more then 10 nuts.

    Sure the nuts can all be passed to one person so they can get that 1 weapon they want but if that was the design then why not make them tradeable? (I understand people would just sell them to make a profit but can SE not come up with a better solution then letting 20 nuts rot?)

    The loot system needs a serious revamp. I would of simply made nothing drop but nuts 100% of the time and after 20 fights you can trade them in and get the 1 weapon you wanted. 140 fights for all 7 weapons seems right on par with the time sink SE intended.

    This post has been done to death but I still will agree.

    I was 0/46 on ifrit and as we entered on fight #47 I told my ls that if I got no drop that night I was done and not running any more. What happened? I got the cane that very fight, then within maybe 20 fights I had bow x2, cane, claws, harpoon and 9 totems. All I really need/want is the axe now so I am getting my final totem then passing them on to those who need em. My roommate on the other hand just got his 1st 50 so he is sitting at 0/9 and I would love to pass him a couple duplicates so he could, oh say, work on other jobs, do some questing, craft some, instead of spending all his time spamming ifrit

    They did say in a past post that nuts/totems will be raised to a 100% drop but they would limit the amount that drop per fight. Let me see if I can find it...

    I'm 5/7 moogle w/6 or 7 nuts. 5/7 Ifrit w/2 or 3 totems.

    I have LS mates with no drops yet from moogle. Yet i have gotten 2 xtra mogstaves that i wish i could of distributed to the actual thm in the run @.@;; Makes me feel bad that i cannot help out my LS >.>

    I still say weapon drops need to go to loot list... Leave drop rates just like now except perhaps the addition of 1 nut/totem to all party members loot list every win on top of the nut/totems already being dropped. Every fight worse case will be 8 nuts/totems dropped. People will need a few wins to get what they want. Duplicate weapons that others want will not get dropped.

    I do NOT want to see totems/nuts tradeable from inventory. If someone has a Moogle bow they better have at least participated in the fight and had a win.

    Having discussed this with a few other people I think the best answer was this suggestion:

    Have the exchange rate be 1 totem or 1 nut = a weapon.
    Have the drop rate for totems and nuts be around 10%
    Weapons do not drop, but are exchanged for.

    This makes it nice and sweet, get a nut or a totem and trade them in for your weapon. This eliminates duplicate weapons dropping and lets you chose which weapon you get. They can still go to your loot list so if you have 7/7 you can still pass them.

    This would make it require about 10 runs to get a weapon and about 70 runs to get 7/7
