I have just completed the level 70 leatherworker quest line and noticed that the Dhalmel in Gridania had disappeared. I thought that was amazing to have something visibly different in town, why not keep it there even if I am the only one that could see it? It made the story more engaging. Gigi's drawing is still on the wall in Idyllshire from the Hildebrand story. Which brings me to another point, why not do this to the rest of the world? It would be interesting to go around the world and craft items for random npcs in the world and have these items stay. Even if my character is the only one to see them and even walk through them. It would be a great addition to end game crafting.

I run all over the world to play triple triad with different npcs collecting cards, I could travel to these npcs and craft simple to complex crafts to be placed in the world in those areas. Much like the Dhamel in Gridania under the leatherworkers guild but with other assets that are already in game. A bench or fountain in the desert of Southern Thanalan. Even simple as changing an Npcs clothing. Wouldn't even need dialogue, would just need a tag pointing out that the npc needs an item crafted and what item. The items needed wouldn't even need to be collectables or special recipes, could be anything already available to craft.
