    Dark Knight Rework Idea

    I main a Dark Knight, so here are some ideas to make it better.

    1. REDUCE the cost of Dark Arts.
    2. Abyssal Drain should automatically give you HP without the use of Dark Arts.
    3. Dark Mind should be a group wide mitigation when you use Dark Arts.
    4. Reduce the cool down for Soul Seeker.
    5. Delirium potency should be higher or cool down should be shorter.
    6. Carve and Spit should give HP or MP based on damage dealt under the use of Dark Arts.
    7. Bloodspiller should cost less blood, or cost abit of TP.
    8. Unleash should have a higher potency.
    9. The Blackest Night should turn into a group wide sphere that can shield from damage and give blood based on how many players are in the circle upon using Dark Arts.
    10. Living Dead should NOT kill me if I’m not healed fully in a certain time after.
    11. Blood Price MP return isn’t to great, so maybe increase the duration or increase how much MP I get with every hit?

    I main tank DRK I don't understand how some of these would work and make the job better. If anything it would be too unbalance compare to others. ( Play all 3 )

    1. REDUCE the cost of Dark Arts. It's already at a reasonable amount, keeping MP is not hard -.-. If they were to lower it by how much?


    2. Abyssal Drain should automatically give you HP without the use of Dark Arts.

    Makes sense to use dark arts being added effect is not something the power of light does. Hence a Dark art.

    3. Dark Mind should be a group wide mitigation when you use Dark Arts.

    Why would it be a group mitigation? it's a boost to yourself can't give a Dark mind to a whm -.-;.

    4. Reduce the cool down for Soul Seeker.

    What is Soul Seeker? or do you mean Soul eater or Soul Survivor?


    5. Delirium potency should be higher or cool down should be shorter.

    How much stronger? how mush shorter?

    6. Carve and Spit should give HP or MP based on damage dealt under the use of Dark Arts.

    It does give MP >.>

    I will agree on this it should be stronger if used with Dark arts.

    Why? on higher areas you should be using Abyssal drain. Unlessh should be for 6o's or lower

    Kind of defeats the purpose, think of it as cover type just less time and less of a wait time on CD. If anything lower the amount of MP it takes by 10% or so.

    10. Living Dead should NOT kill me if I’m not healed fully in a certain time after.

    Technically it should being you hit 0 hp, so must get max HP. Living dead is just borrowed time.

    11. Blood Price MP return isn’t to great, so maybe increase the duration or increase how much MP I get with every hit?

    Note: Might want to learn your job properly if your suggesting changes, keep in mind the suggestion made would unbalance other jobs and then people would continue to complain. Also it would make more sense if you minimum had all 3 rank roles at 70 and then compare. Maybe just maybe you might find out that your more of a PLD or WAR based on your needs.

    Ahh Soul survivor was the name my bad xD, you make good points though. Maybe it’s just a bit much with mp management.

    Now that I think about it, we've said many ways to fix living dead, but the idea of walking dead actually "poisoning" you, so you take 10% of your max hp in dmg, every 1 second in walking dead sound a bit better. (Though the server ticks would probably never allow this), ending with either 10 seconds being up, or being healed for ur max hp.

    though there's other ideas floating around too.

    Also, bloodspiller doesnt take up TP, so as to help DRK not run out of TP to begin with. Same as to why PLD now has spells to cast.

    I meant blood spiller should cost tp, but now that I think about it, it wouldnt make sense.
