Experience Point Rewards from Expert Roulette are pointless.

I just came to the realization since playing 2.0 launch that the experience point rewards and experience point bonus from running expert roulette is pretty pointless.

I do not recall if there was already a thread about it, or if there was a community/dev response that was already put out and I missed it. Was this something that was overlooked?

Anyways, I'm just curious if getting more experience points on an already level 70 job is working as intended.

There is no actual experience reward for expert roulette, though. One will appear if your current class is below maximum level, but you can't queue for it. If you are max level, that reward changes to tomestones. I've always assumed this is a weird artifact of how the roulette system works internally. And it is really weird, and should probably be removed.

Not sure what you're talking about here. Being level 70 is why the roulette gives you level 70 tomes in lieu of experience points.

You got bonus exp/gil/tomestone from using roulette.
If you aren't 70, you won't get bonus Creation/Verity (50 for Poetic).
If you are 70, you won't get bonus exp.
The one you won't get not listed as bonus reward in duty finder when you select.

Oh, I see what you're talking about. I was looking at it the rewards through a lower level job.

Expert shouldn't be proccing challenge logs, someone suggested a claim button in challenge log that would alleviate the issue easily
