    Is there a way to disable macro sound effects?

    Is there a way to remove macro sound effects? There are people who spam them in rapid succession and they are high pitched. I have a sensory issue with high pitched sounds - like I mute my whole sound when I do crafting as a Blacksmith because of the sounds - but in dungeons I wanna be able to hear the cutscenes.

    The sound effects can’t be turned down low enough to not be grating. Can we completely disable them? Anytime I ask someone to cut it out, they get nasty to me and start spamming it more. I just had that happen and I have a migraine beginning now...

    Particularly Se.10 makes me want to be deaf. It ruins my enjoyment of the game.

    I turned off sound effects in the game early on, when WHMs would spam Holy by the MB, and DRGs would spam their old AoE move. Music went away for good after a couple hours of Titan music.

    This may help. Go to system conffiguration, Sound settings, then scroll down to the bottom. Under player effects volume simply turn off Other PCs.

    I think she wants the stupid "chat sound effects" disabled but nothing else.

    Sadly it sounds like an all or nothing deal in a couple of contexts.
