    Suggestions: serious ones

I've read over the 2.0 & im assuming most things i thought of since i started playing 1 week ago ruffly are going to be covered but here some things i dont see covered which may help improve it especially for new players starting from scatch.

    --------------------
GIL drops from killing monsters ~ there just not enough ways to get gil when your a low level & dont know what levequests are, so this would help even if its only 20gil~max altho the more the better.

More quests: its not menchioned in the 2.0 that i read.

side quests need to reward GIL as well

Recipe books for sale ~ maybe even a set of starting recipes when you start the game

Get rid of the Culinary class or merge it with alchemy ~ i personaly dont see the point in it.

Merge Armorcraft & blacksmithing classes ~ they are the same thing (maybe remake them secondary?)

Merge weaving & leathercrafting ~ pretty much the same thing (maybe remake them secondary?)

    --------------------
thats about all the ones i personaly can see benifit in.

On a side note loving the game!

I agree with the gil drop, maybe do it like in XI where beastmen drop gold.

Same thing with more quests and that side quests should also reward some gil.

Recipe Books are also something I've wanted for quite some time.

I'd have to disagree with the merging of crafting classes though, especially with the disappearance of the culinary class.

    (1)Gil Drops.
I do agree that new players might have some trouble with this, I would like to comment that making money as a Lv1 isn't hard to do, just hard to find out sometimes.
W/O giving away my methods, I can assure you, as a Lv1, I can make allot of gil with current in game methods.

    (2)Quests
are... just more annoying leve quests with mediocre stories. Unless the stories improve and offer a better way to get them, and get to your destination, along with some basic gear upgrades, I think they are sorta a waste of time.

Of course I would like to see a mix of quests and leves, in a system similar to other MMOs, where u collect them and complete them somewhat near the location you do them. (Even more so for crafting leves)

    (3) recipe
coulda sworn they mentioned being able to see everything you have learned (Recipe wise) eventually, along with receiving them from leves.

    (4)Cook Alch
They are going to make some sort of major changes to these, uknown what yet.

    (5) ARM BSM
Depending on how they continue down the road with current systems, I would actually disagree with this for balance reasons. (But most of the reasons why they did this originally have been removed in whole or partially.)

    (6) I think this is a bit of a stretch.

Gil drops aren't bad, but only when it makes sense. Having rabbits that drop gil is silly, why would they have currency?

More quests would be nice but in no way would I consider the addition of more fetch quests content, so they really are a secondary concern at best.

Merging crafting classes would be silly, culinary and alchemy should be all right in the future even if they are worthless at the moment. Blacksmith and armorer should never be merged because as a combined class they would hold far too great a percentage of the gear recipes.

I disagree with this. A)Sell items from what you kill, great solo or with good XP of grouping. B)Learn what Leves are and do em, you level and get gil. Not to mention, alot of leves give gear as rewards. C) Level a DoL, If you do not have DoH, 100% of leveling the goes to income, and it pays well. D)DoH, makes lots of money and makes it fast.
Get a group together to farm NMs for good gear at 30ish, and the gear cost nothing. You get XP and learn to play your class a little more as well. The gear will last untill you are 50.
Basically, I am telling you 4 ways off the top of my head that you are flat out wrong on this point. The last thing we need is even more inflation in our economy, and that is exactly what your suggesting will add.

No. See above, read it, learn from it, love it.

Recipe books for sale ~ maybe even a set of starting recipes when you start the game
They already have these. Where have you been?

Get rid of the Culinary class or merge it with alchemy ~ i personaly dont see the point in it.
They already stated they are changing both of these classes. Please try to keep up. Also, its interesting how you believe you know enough about them to suggest it with your highest class as level 22.
Merge Armorcraft & blacksmithing classes ~ they are the same thing (maybe remake them secondary?)
How do you know, you havn't leveled eithe one.

Merge weaving & leathercrafting ~ pretty much the same thing (maybe remake them secondary?)
umm, no. one deals with leather and the other cloth, again, please try to keep up.

All though I appreciate where your comming from, all your facts are, well not facts. You do not have the experience to make this suggestion, and the nature of the suggestions clearly display that.
