you have a skill to execute a different skill? what? why not just move the devotion effect to aetherpact or just remove aetherpact and call the skill devotion?

Aetherpact is your command, which wraps giving the pet an order. Devotion is the pet's own action. If you check the pet actions, you'll see an "ult" skill for each of your Egis, which they perform once you hit 'Enkindle' - same concept. The biggest confusion here, I feel like, is that Devotion shows under your actions, when it should be under 'Pets'
Its there so you don't have to put a different button on your hotbar for each pet.
