I was assuming the OP meant the changes to the world that come with 2.0 and not the world merger happening today... I certainly don't think the game needs to explain the population explosion happening because of the merger.

However we are getting 1.21a along with the merger so we shall see what world changes that might bring but I still don't expect a CS.
