for me SE should do first kills only Sync doable.

I also enjoy the experience of being in a duty for the first time while at the correct level, with a full party of first timers so I try to do them on launch day but with old content, that is impossible unless you set up a pre made partyfinder group or premade group outside of partyfinder.

Set up a partyfinder group that specifies "First time & Synced run only!" in the notes and make sure the people who join, understand that you are intentionally running it synced for the challenge of doing the content as it was originally intended. Check the "first time okay" box and other specs you want.

I see these groups in partyfinder often and some of them are for the challenge, others are to learn but with Wondrous tales and relic runs, the general idea is to get in and out quickly so its not an ideal place for first time runs or other intentional, time consuming constraints so when you que for those, expect people to be interested in getting in and out asap.

While your synced gear stats and The Power of Echo bonus might still make it impossible to legitimately run it as it was run when it was current content, it is as close as you can get without actually being the appropriate level and putting on gear leveled appropriately for the original duty's level.
