for me SE should do first kills only Sync doable.
i also hate people mean fights are easy. then go in sync mean they can do it easy and then "oh this is hard" lol while looking for a group know wahts to do

No one forces you to do first kill unsynced. If you have issues with that, don't do it.

What is not fun for you may be fun for others though. Don't tell others how to play...unless as part of a "group content" and in agreement with the group. Your group run and your groups agreement.

If they mandated first timers had to do all content synced, they would never experience any old raids or EX Primals. No one does Titan EX or Alexander Prime synced anymore.

Mentor roulette says hi. I get a lot of the ARR primals in that. I've had a few Alexander(mostly Father and Son), but not as often as the EX primals. Kind of surprised/sad I haven't gotten any of the HW EX primals.

Let's be honest. A good number of those roulettes end either in failure or the mentor outright leaving. There's a reason the system as a whole is looked so down upon. Not saying it's right, but I certainly wouldn't call the mentor roulette a good indication for clear rates.

I've had a small percentage end in failure. Most of the time they are successful. And yes, a large number of "mentors"(properly read as self-serving-holier-than-thou types) do leave instantly, however there are still a larger number of mentors who will stick with the group until the end, teaching/helping people learn mechanics. It's when the people learning do NOT want to learn that it dissolves even faster than cotton candy in a puddle.

There’s a slight difference between getting a first clear synced via Mentor Roulette queues, and people actually queuing directly for old Ex primals/8-mans en masse. A lot of Mentor Roulette Ex primals only have 1 or 2 individuals that have queued in directly for it, with the remaining members being mentors tossed in there via the Roulette, rather than 6 or 7 direct queuers and 1 or 2 mentors. Not a lot of people try to queue in directly via DF for ARR Ex primals (or even HW now, I think); they usually turn to FC/LS friends and PF to get unsynced clears (very rarely, you may see a synced first clear in PF).

As for doing old content synced, there aren’t really any incentives for it other than the challenge and/or nostalgia. If individuals want more people to get their first clears of older, harder content synced, then SE could always implement additional incentives for going back and doing the content synced.

All this being said, even if one person did clear Titan Ex synced for their first clear, there’s no guarantee that they would really know what they were doing, and could teach other people. Just want to throw that out there.

Bingo correct answer here! It doesn't even MATTER whether people think they can tell others how to play because in the end making first kills sync only would be a stupid move on SE part.

Yeah I know what you mean. The idea of unsynced extreme primals was always a bad idea in my opinion. Unsynced anything was a bad idea in my opinion to be honest. We want more content, not less. I know it's important that people get to clear things outside of savage but keeping primals as content would could always run for fun and accomplishment(killing a primal in 20 seconds to 7 minutes isn't fun). It's probably too late to remove unsynced primals now but I agree with you.

The thing is, its still content, I run old stuff for particular items now and then. Just yesterday I was running gubal solo for an item and a guildy logged on and asked whats happening and I told her and she joined in, and we done that and a few other unsynced stuff for her as well all afternoon.
This happens quite regularly and it is something to do.
Now whether its something you like to do is beside the point, and you cannot claim its not content. Anything that eats your time up while logged in is content. And i can tell you now, if I had to run gubal synced, I wouldn't have, I would've just found something close from the MB.
