Probably both. This poster rings a bit on the "special snowflake" syndrome - doesn't enjoy the thought people can get what they did at all, and especially not if it's gained easier than it was when the content was new. I recall them arguing about the Maid/Butler sets and saying they shouldn't be in the Mog Station later just because "EU had their chance to get them". It's all quite silly.

Well. Then go with them sync and don't drop the party because they didn't kill it at the first try. The problem to do it Sync is the lack of people to do it. No one cares about other players. They don't joint for old trials or raid unless is unsync. Blame the people who don't help, not those who does it unsycn because they have no choice.

for me SE should do first kills only Sync doable.
i also hate people mean fights are easy. then go in sync mean they can do it easy and then "oh this is hard" lol while looking for a group know wahts to do

No i don't hate them because there are players who started playing later!
You don't have to learn the fight because almost no one runs it sync anymore.
SE does that because it makes it easier for new players to get the kill at all..see point before.
The primals are not hard sync. Its just different because you can't just faceroll.

Don't blame the players for a system that SE made and don't blame SE for making it possible for new players to get kills in very old content.

Actually I think it is, given RC runs still fail, even old WoD runs and old dungeon runs. People have done all of the content before synced/unsynced and can still fail. Knowing the fight doesnt mean youll be better. Knowing the fight doesnt mean you'll remember mechanics. Synced Unsynced it really doesnt matter. Some people just can't be taught. I've run into quite a few, I just used ONE for an example. But I could write pages on how people fight and go into dungeons and the like.

Synced doesnt mean you know anything more than the person who Unsynced it, esp considering most mechanics in old content, are always recycled in new.

No, I do not think so. Mechanics are good, but its reliant as well on a players natural skill and willingness not just to learn what theyre running but learn their class as well. Since everyone is different to start with. No. I ran everything synced, and my friends who started later unsynced, and theyre just as good as I am since they learn fast, and learn well. I'm running currently with someone who just started just before stormblood. They run great with the new content.

If I take two identical theoretical players, have one run all the content synced and one run all the content unsynced, do you believe they will be of an equal skill level at the end of such a test?
