Make "Boss FATES" in each zone drop hunt seals

It's pretty silly that SE goes through the trouble of designing these massive zone bosses with their own FATEs, achievements, and unique rewards, and then a month after each expansion launches they remain untouched 95% of the time they spawn (excluding FATE parties, which occur only in certain zones and even then often don't have the numbers to challenge the zone boss.)

It's not a perfect solution, and I know the idea of encouraging FATE participation is anathema to some people, but I figure it can't hurt to suggest these bosses reward a small amount of Allied/Centurio seals (maybe a smaller-than-A-rank chance for a mark log/crystal cluster?) when defeated. The exact amount rewarded would be up to SE to balance, but I feel like treating these guys like mini hunt mobs would do enough to encourage people to kill them and maybe give the people who never got to fight them an opportunity to actually see the FATE to completion.

I'm good with this. I just need SE to come up with a reason for us to utilize these (barren) massive zones. It's maddening that they can't figure out something at this point.

Another one of the big failures in this game - the FATEs are there but nobody ever bothers doing them. As a result, maps are empty 99% of the time, save for the few world boss events such as Odin, Ixion and Fox Lady. Which means people have no insentive to visit the older maps. This is worsened by the fact that dungeon-grinding and PotD are a much faster leveling alternative than doing FATEs. So really, anything that'll get maxed-out players to start doing FATEs again (even if it's just the boss ones in this case), I believe is a great idea.

I find it very interesting. Anything that makes the maps look less dead would be great.

As long as they don't do what they did in 2.X with their hunt bills, and made certain boss fates be the ones that dropped hunt currency if you wanted just a pitiful 15 seals.

The boss FATEs are definitely impossible in old zones these days, this would be a good solution to that. However some of these FATEs can actually take longer than an Stormblood A rank to kill, so I would hope they would take that into account as far as rewards go. Otherwise they will remain unused. As it is now, half the A ranks in SB zones that are called, only a handful show up.

Time taken to kill has nothing to do with reward, reward is based on rarity. So if a boss fate spawns twice as much as an A rank, then the reward would be roughly half irregardless to difficulty,

is this actually true? the real boss FATEs (Odin, Behemoth. Coeurlregina, etc) spawn about the same as S Ranks.

I can't believe they limited Yokai the second time around to old zones only again and didn't include some way to upgrade those weapons with re-colors/skins by having fates included the new zones to the mix. People would've been fate grinding everywhere... then again, I totally believe it. Innovation has not exactly been a strong suit of theirs over the last decade or so.

Better still create a proper hunt system. One that actually notifies you when a mob is in the area. Maybe even something like the compass X hunt mob is so many yalms this way.
