Ugly equipments

Is it me or lvl 50 Lancer equipments are just ugly?

When I got my low level Iron Scale Mail and Dented Celata, I thought it was great, especially after having be wearing tissue armors for a while. And then I looked at lvl 50 armors.. OMG! it is awful! seriously? Vintage Haubergeon and Mercenary's Pot Helm, Mercenary's Mitts... Have high lvl lancers to wear dresses and mittens? c'mon! we're warriors!

Does it really look as cool?





Seriously not. I would rather have the haubergeron lvl 20 and dump it as soon as possible than to have to wear it lvl 50 knowing there's nothing better in terms of stats.

Hopefully new jobs will resolve this problem, though i'm not sure if you can become a dragoon when you're lvl 50 or if it is an entirely new job.

I don't think it look that ugly it look like something someone wear back in the days in real life.

They're very nice IMO. I liked a lot the way gears were made in this game. ^^

Only obliquely related... but I have the same complaint about the scimitar style of weapons in the game... they look like really bad theater props.

Yes, it's ugly. It just so plain and basic. I want some bad ass armor, not same re - color crap over and over again.

I'm sorry but I don't want to be forced to run around looking like some sort of clown/walking light show. I hate when MMO's give me some gear that looks nice at low level only to force me to dress like a moron or wear gear that I just..

I like my armour believable, sorry. The gear at present has differences in the texturing and the way it's shaded based on material and quality and.. I really like that. Sorry if you don't.. maybe they'll put in some gear you like down the road?

It's bad enough they seem to have removed higher level actons and dalmatica, two gear families I really liked and wanted to wear at higher levels. I'd really rather they not remove the gear I find nice and tasteful looking in favour of forcing some gaudy spikefest down my throat.

Only way I'd ever support the implementation of 'badass' armour is if they implement a system like Aion's, whereby I get to have my gear use models from other, less distasteful gear of a similar sort if I so fancy. .. That or the old aesthetic slots concept.

solid scale mail is still a good piece for lancer if you want something that looks better. drop rate in DH is real good no too.

DH is also pretty easy to beat now, so theres no excuses ;P
