They just need to pick up the pace. We all want this game to do well but when you start to look at their timeline for the new year, and compare it to last year, it still feels like this game isn't coming along very quickly. In the broad sense, not to discredit the incredible effort put forth in the recent patches. It's a ton of work, but the pace of content is dreadful. What happened to a patch every 2 weeks?
Please, don't bring up the Titanic II SW:TOR launch here.

FFXIV has it's share of problems, but other MMOs aren't part of that list. I'm pretty sure most of the folks who decided to pay pre-2.0 are going to stay. The game is dead to the gaming press and community, and most of them are going to take (hopefully) 2.0 as a completely new game.

Sure TOR has great graphics for a 2004 2011 game, a good representation of the SW world, great character customization, super original abilites not seen in other games, a successful marketing campaign, and of course great review scores all over the web.

This is most likely a WoW killer, with it's increasing player base.

Don't worry FFXIV is in the lower leagues. Have fun playing TOR if you decide to cancel your FFXIV account, I'll have fun with my beta game.
