Account deactivated. Holding out for Guild Wars 2.

Hmmm all thats needed for this thread to take off is a healthy amount of trolls, some pie and possibly popcorn. mmmmmmmm popcorn.
I just left the game and I don't feel like I missed anything at all. I'm just playing some other F2P game now to tied me over to 2.0 and hopefully it is worth something and more enjoyable. I do agree that this game feel very dead and it a mistake to charge now. People will start calling people who quit and say that this game is not worth the money are cheap and don't want to pay. But the truth is people will pay if the game is fun and worth something.
And BTW I can still post and my account is already cancel. So there go the fan boy who say all the troll are gone now if they have anything negative to say.

Cancelled accounts can post for 30 days, after 30 days the account goes inactive and people shouldn't have access to the forums anymore. I don't know who told you it was an instant thing, takes a month.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
I don't care about payment, I don't care about numbers in servers dropping, but here's my two cents on something the OP did mention I agreed with.
I like to play on my own quite a lot, and I don't find the solo content too lacking, I play in a fairly large LS who fight ifrit and mog quite a lot, however, I also have 2-3 friends IRL who play, there is very little content for light partys of 2-4 people, in the end game.
At 25-30, Toto-Rak is great, its quite fun, you get some nice gear for that level and it's sometimes a bit more engaging than just doing leves or grinding.
TLDR: I'd like to see more content for smaller groups at lvls 45-50.
Why do these threads keep popping up? Honestly do the OP's think that THIS will be the rabble complaining post that will suddenly make something happen? That THIS will be the ONE complaint thread that people won't troll and WONT turn into a locked thread?
All that aside, OP, they ARE doing something, they ARE making things better, they even went through the tedious effort to create a road map for us, outlining EVERYTHING they ARE doing, WHEN they are doing it, and what EXACTLY will be done.
It's as simple as that. I don't understand why there are so many threads like this?
Edit:
It's classic. Somebody goes on the game, has a rough night, maybe they die a few times at a primal, bad luck crafting, maybe they couldn't find a grinding party! Maybe they spent too much time crafting and got a little frustrated?
They don't have all their classes at 50, have plenty of achievements to earn, beaten a primal, completed a dungeon or even finished the "main story. Have most of their DOL's and DOH's still to level. (this may not be the case with THIS OP) So they come on the Lodestone, whine about broken mechanics, bad players and that there is "nothing to do" because they had a bad night.
Go find a nice Link Shell, spend some time doing the things you haven't completed, or find a new game.
I know people going for their last DOL to complete every job at 50, have most Primal and Moogle items, and are working on their golden tools. These people complain less and they REALLY DO have nothing to do!

You're strongly assuming and putting weight to what they ARE doing is the RIGHT thing(s) to do. That's what this thread is about. Why do these threads keep popping up? Xoo, it's gotten to the point that NOTHING They do will make anyone happy. It's becoming painfully clear to me that MMO'ers are whiny and entitled.
We complain about the game on launch(rightfully so), and so they poll the players, ask for honest input, try to give us what we asked for, and we complain. They fire an entire team, give us a free year, completely remake the game form top to bottom, and we complain.
Every patch that comes along changing core aspects of the game we scream "GAME KILLER!" and wail and gnash our teeth.
We wanted original class names, better combat, smoother UI, and revamped lore...they give us all of this...and we complain.
We can't level fast enough! they speed it up...we complain...they slow it down...we complain.
We want faster travel! We get airships...we complain, we get chocobo's...what there to easy to get? To much traveling to get!? We complain...what? Non chocobo mounts? RAGE!
Even something as tiny as a free gift mount is a game killer.
We flood the forums with angry post after angry post whining and moaning about everything we can think of. Nothing is good enough, nothing is what we want.
I'm starting to think that no matter WHAT they do no matter WHAT changes they make it won't be good enough.
