I mean, don't know how else you are supposed to take "Except there is the fact that Bard which has way more utility does more damage as does machinist...", but I word things badly too sometimes.

"the fact that Bard, which has way more utility, does more damage. As does machinist."

Is probably how the punctuation would be used to clarify.
