But it doesn't really add anything, as it's been said a thousand times (it's in the title of this thread too). Most posts are just repetitions of the same handful of points, so they're effectively "bumps for awareness". When something's a hot topic, that's just what ends up happening.
You're right in that we have a mega-thread for this issue and everyone should make an effort to put any feedback/opinion/bump there to keep the forums tidy and just agglomerate all voices on one spot.
This "ten threads about the same topic" thing we have going on (and the jp forums don't seem to) is kinda silly, but I guess frustrated people just want to be heard...

(There's an argument around those pages that isn't really passive-aggressive. It's just aggressive)
