PSO2 Collaboration, Where?

Every collab has been realized with something new.
Niger got raids.
Yokai Watch got Fates.
Monster Hunter got a boss.
Golden Knight Garo got PVP rewards.

So if they did do a crossover with PSO2, I think we can rule out the crossover taking any of the above forms.

Unlikely, and the only wasted Alliance raid series was Void Ark. I mean...what actually happened in there for story, does anybody remember? Because I sure as hell cannot, it was that irrelevant to the overall plot.

The Void Ark was a hell of a lot more fun than the Nier garbage. I don't care for Nier Automata, and honestly wish it hadn't been implemented in XIV at all.

A bunch of sky pirates stumbled upon an attempt by a powerful voidsent to unseal an even more powerful one. It tied heavily into the War of the Magi plotline that is core to the White Mage, Black Mage, Scholar and Red Mage job stories and a number of dungeons (Adampor Keep, Lost City of Adampor, and Wanderer's Palace).

Crystal Tower was more or less a tangental sidequest until ShB brought it into the main story so they could easily make it required and relevant in several ways.

Thanks, I really could not remember the story for it. Though that may stem from my own dislike of Weeping City and Dun Scaith due to the amount of bad players I encountered back in HW who could not do those places. It was bad enough to where I feel I probably had more failures of those two places in HW then I did of the newer ARs since then combined.

Void Ark theme was a lot cooler. For sure. I'm not sure I really like how an entire expansion's alliance raids are devoted to some other game - not even FF. But I don't have much prior knowledge of past FF titles either. Ivalice was more interesting too though.

I agree. I loved Ivalice because it was still relevant to XIV and brought homages to other Final Fantasy games. Plus they were fun raids. I'm really hoping they go with an original story again for next expansion and not something like the Nier crossover.

Yeah, I don't see how the neir stuff has expanded the game's current story, unlike like you say Ivalice, or Void Ark, etc. This is like the first expansion where the alliance raids have nothing to do with anything.

I second both the I don't really mind if they forget it (I am not a fan of crossover events) and I definitely do not want to give up another alliance raid chapter to another game again. Nier is cool and the raid is fun and all but it's not Final Fantasy. Feels really weird.
