My pick was separating horns from faces- I love female au ra face 3 but don't care for the croissants horns, and love male au ra face 4's horns but cannot for the life of me make a character I like with that face. Let me mix and match my lizard parts ;w;

If i may offer a few of my opinions.

At the current life cycle of the game, i believe, the introduction of sliders, facial hair options, tattoos, scars, ect..., are an impossibility as far the engine/ character data limit is concerned. Until a Major rework of the the current system is made (1.0 to 2.0 levels) any changes/ additions to the character creation aspect of this game will simply have to wait.

Polls such as this, while informative, can and have been often misinterpreted. I feel that means that suggestions must also be accompanied by examples. One can say they want longer hair options, but with out an example would i be talking about Ysayle's or something else?

SE, I would like for character creation to be expanded in the future. Below is a video of the Character creation of another game. i feel the addition of many it's features would greatly benefit FFXIV. Should a redesign in scope to 1.0/ 2.0 A Realm Reborn ever come to pass, please consider.

Yes please!

At least Arcanist gets to be a lefty (with the summoning spell animation) but I would love to be able to change it for the other classes.

Unlock hairstyles for each of the races, mix and match. Horns more style of horns for Au'Ra, ram style horns, straight up horns, etc, and have them unlocked via the face as a separate deal.

While I don't doubt most of those votes are legitimate, 'butt slider' has become such a meme in the community at this point that I wouldn't be surprised if one or two votes were joke votes.

Why can I only vote for one thing?

I thought about adding the option to vote for multiple things, but a lot of people probably would've ended up voting for almost everything. By having to make a choice we reveal our priorities. Perhaps next time I'll find a polling site which allows voters to pick three out of all options.

I agree that examples make it easier to understand suggestions. At first I wanted to add an option for more hairstyles and colors, but we kind of get new hairstyles every patch anyway. Then I remembered complaints about the new styles always being a bit too similar to existing ones, and how the hair color options are lacking. I think Elezen don't even get a proper blue and in general the colors are a bit dull. The wording "More variance in hair colors and hairstyles" includes adding more hair style options as usual while keeping in mind the hair colors, lengths, textures and cuts we already have and not making the new things too similar. Anything longer than the PotD hairstyle, curls between an afro and waves or a waterfall braid would be examples of something we don't already have (to my knowledge). Here are some examples of hair styles added in different patches being somewhat similar. They are all short and straight hair left open, just cut and combed in different ways.

The point is to make our character creation wishes known to the devs, because it's lacking in many ways. I'm not going to exclude a much requested feature from the poll just because it might be popular among voters. That would go against the point of this thread lol.

Personally I picked the butts (whether it's a slider or a binary choice, or tied to breast size) because in the end I'm happy with my character in every other way. I like the race, the face, the hair, the build and facial features, but I have no way to make her backside proportional to her chest the way every real life woman has. I think I'm not the only one who feels this way.
