Leveling Roulette in a nutshell

This is why it's called LEVELING roulette, you only have to be lvl 16 to join. The whole point is to do lower dungeons so new people can still get things done. If you don't like it simply don't do it.

I know it's called LEVELING roulette. That's why I'm running it, because I do in fact happen to be LEVELING.
It wouldn't be nearly as bad if the exp scaling from lower level dungeons wasn't so horrid. Most of the time it doesn't even dent the bar, save for the bonus at the end of it. I run it because I hope for that lottery-esq instance where it drops me into something relevant to my own level (which is awesome, it's basically 1.5+ dungeons' worth of EXP).

I have noticed when doing the level roulette as an DPS, I get either HW or SB content, but when doing it as an Tank or Healer, I always get ARR content and always the 15-40 dungeons.

I got 3x Darkhold and 1 Sohm al or however spelled this week as 65-69 MCH

Yes it is called leveling roulette, but if you qued with a full party of 60’s why are you still getting satasha? From my experience 1/10 satashas actually has a new player or someone at that level. I don’t mind helping new players, I have issues with getting low level dungeons with a full crew of 60s nine times out of ten.

Because its a roulette and you have lot of dungeons to chose from (ARR, HW and SB)?

A player cannot exceed level 50 until they've done Sashtasha, yet a party ENTIRELY of players over 50 can still end up in Sashtasha. Clearly, none of them need it for MSQ, and it is highly unlikely that any of those 4 players queued for it specifically.

That's not entirely true. Sure it's one hell of a grind but so long as they have at least HW registered it can be done.

I always get Ifrit or Titan when I'm healer or Toto-Rak (I hate Toto-Rak nobody avoids the poison ever!)

Leveling likes to drop me in Stone Vigil a lot lately. Got it three days in a row, all 3 times with new people. At least they needed it.

Trials Roulette is the one that pisses me off the most lately. Stop giving me the Crysalis every day!

Yeah and even as a roulette getting one dungeon nine times out of ten makes no sense. (I said that in my original post)
