Higher level fate penalty

I'd like to ask if you know how large is the penalty of exp/money when you do a fate that is for a higher level than you are.

I mean, when you get this message: "You are below the recommended level for this FATE. Your contribution will not be weighed as heavily."

There is no penalty to exp or money as far as I know, but you will have to work harder to gain the max reward, i.e. your contributions will count less than that of other players doing the FATE, but if you do enough you can still get the max reward.

The Penalty as far as i understood it only wheighs in when you are "not the only one" doing the FATE in question. So if your solo'ing it as a Dark Knight who can tank obscene amounts of damage - you'll get full credit regardless (at least from what I've observed)

If your in a group setting - your contributions MAY (not WILL..but MAY) - become far less than expected.

No hard numbers for you - so i could be totally wrong - but Id say aim for Gold and you'll be fine. I'd ignore the message anyway - It's not like you don't reap the benefits overall anyway.
