Sorry for pointing this out, but I don't think it's "garbage" per se, it's just a different goal. Wether you agree or not, it's a different story. People like to push their jobs, because it extends their fun in-game, giving them an additional goal. "Did I clear X content? nice. Let's see how much I can optimize, push harder, and get better numbers". E-peen? Maybe. Fun? Perhaps. More things to do in-game? Not with the provided tools, but with the right ones: Yes. Also, I was pressed to do more DPS even back in FCOB for week-1 clears on my main character (Signature, thanks Hyomin for the template), so I don't think the tank DPS comes from Gordias, but before that.Actually it does, ppl where not up the tanks butt to stance dance all that much till alex gordias as it was punishing with hard dps checks. People tried to enforce it in other content after.
Also if you actually read what I said, I personally don't care if tank is stance dancing or not. I also never stated no else should dps, reading a post in full kinda helps not have mis-understandings. It is the dps's role to do damage though. Not use tank as a scapegoat.
I also never been kicked from pf groups either. And no your mindset is pretty garbage, if you read the op it looks like their using duty finder not pf. They already cleared shin ex, just farming the wing.
The encounters in this game resolve around DPS, with very extremely limited situations where heals do something (Shinryu X). Having both the tanks and the healers dealing extra DPS, not only speeds the process up and it's not that they can't clear if they don't push their numbers. It's matter of clearing faster, being optimal. Some people have that mindset and no condescending emotes (aka) or derogatory remakrs will change that.

As for the OP, it sucks that people kicked you out FROM A DUNGEON because of that. I am close to the 10k instances clear myself and I've never seen such thing to happen. You probably were paired with some try hard fellas there. If they mentioned any parser during your run or actual numbers, you can report them. However, this attitude will never change. Just warning you.
As a side note, it's extremely easy to swap/drop your tank stance. Do it at least once or twice as if it was an experiment and see how it goes. Just do your emnity combo once (if DA from DRK) or twice, or three times if needed, drop your stance and go ham on DPS combos. Go back to your tanking stance if you see the DPS are catching up aggro-wise. Bosses in instances barely do any damage, and with proper CD usage, you can get away with not using tank stance. I'm almost sure no one is expecting you to pull 3k+ DPS. It's not an unrealistic number at all, but it's dungeon content after all...

Any form of harassment is against the ToS. Again, some people are truly try-hards when it comes to fflogs and letting that attitude bleed in DF (specifically for dungeon roulettes) just tells you what kind of people they truly are. True, being kicked because of that sucks, and can be reported ONLY if they openly mentioned they were using a third party tool. However, people's attitude will never change no matter what you do. I'd like to mention that both sides of the spectrum are equally bad, the toxi no-parser attitude vs the omg-parse attitudes are equally annoying as f. There's a nice middle ground where people parse when it matters and it's only concerned about DPS when it matters. Or people that just don't give a flying f*c* and just play the game.
calling out bullying behavior does help. And I personally never seen toxic "non parser" just ppl having a different opinion, and being insulted for it.
I wrote earlier that i personally don't care if tank stance dances or not. If they doing their tank role that is all i care about. This is my opinion. I mainly dps and do as much dps as my gear/skill allows. I personally never been kicked from extremes, coil, and i skipped savage in HW.
the dude tried to use the opinion to belittle me making assumptions on my game play. Calling it out is a good thing, though it can change everyone, it does set a standard of play/attitude. No one should be kicked over fflogs... those who do should be reported.
Take that dissatisfaction and use it as motivation to improve yourself. The only person holding you back is you.
I would suggest dropping tank stance once you establish threat and take the first big hit from the bosses, but it’s definitely not necessary and doesn’t shave off THAT much time. Luckily tanks have short queues so just let them be someone else’s problem and queue for a better group.

Can you tryhard raiders go one minute without harassing people for not subscribing to the MLG mentality of gaming? Where in the world did the TC say anything about wanting to "be carried"? The only time tanking in Sword Oath/Deliverance is remotely acceptable is A) The tank forgot to switch stances upon entry or B) The tank established hate in the early going. Any other time is cause for setting that tank straight about what his/her main purpose is, and it's not setting a high score in FFLogs.
